About the role
We are looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer who will help us to give the technical direction and build our new platform using React, Tailwind and Typescript. In this role, you will be working closely with our Product Manager and UX team to implement new features.
As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will remain totally hands-on in delivering and building top-quality code.
What you’ll do
- Write high quality code
- Apply testing best practices to ensure code quality and robustness
- Collaborate with designers, product managers and backend engineers
- Provide a highly user experience with no issues, errors or downtime
- Participate actively in code reviews
- Work directly with the business and clarify requirements
- Be a role model to help your team as well as guide and mentor less experienced engineers
What you’ll need
- Proven experience with React, Tailwind and Typescript
- Ability to manage all stages of a project including research, developing and design
- Attention to detail and an eye for design
- Passion for quality
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Critical thinking: balance short-term needs with long-term goals
- Curiosity, strong focus and passion to build a great product
- Excellent communication skills and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and ability to influence both: technical and business decisions
