In a market now defined by mounting AI risk and growing regulations, Gartner has recognised Holistic AI as a Challenger in its 2026 Magic Quadrant for AI Governance Platforms, an independent validation of a platform built to govern AI across its full lifecycle.
In their companion Critical Capabilities report, Gartner found that Holistic AI “excels in technical and regulatory oversight,” and gave us the highest score in AI Risk and Compliance across 13 vendors (3.90 out of 5.0). We were also ranked in the top three vendors for AI Agent Governance (3.81 out of 5.0) and received the highest individual score for AI Discovery and Registry; Gartner’s measure of a platform's ability to maintain a real-time, automated inventory of an organization's entire AI estate, including shadow AI, agents, APIs, and models.
Whilst AI governance spending is currently valued at roughly $492 million, Gartner expects it to surpass $1 billion by 2030. This growth demonstrate how quickly AI governance is moving from an emerging concern to a board-level budget priority — and why analyst-validated platforms are so important.

Enterprises are deploying AI faster than they can govern it. The result is a rapidly widening gap between innovation and governance — and a growing set of risks that manual processes are unable to keep up with.
Our recognition as a Challenger reflects a platform that delivers continuous, end-to-end governance: the assurance leaders need to scale AI confidently.
